Process of Illumination's The Broken
The Broken is the second album I've worked on with the band. Due to the nature of their music's progressive narrative that constantly self-reflects and self-references, we had to create designs that match that as well. In the previous album, they had a photoshoot image where the band members had their hands reaching out a shared goal and dream in the form of a lightbulb.With this sophomore album, the brief was to play off of that image and demonstrating the fragility of those elements. By ways of photo manipulation, I was able to turn an image of a hand reaching up into a fragmented glass hand stuck between a geometric hour glass.With the disc art, I took a lightbulb stock image and turned it into a self-imploding, mid-action light. The goal was to contrast the stillness of the hand with the dynamic lightbulb in composition and in monochome vs. color.

Twitch streamer Oopsallsmurph ran a charity stream for Thrive Youth Center, raising funds for homeless LGBTQ+ community in San Antonio. The theme of the Tabletop RPG was a Real Housewives parody within the Dungeons & Dragons universe.Overall, I emphasized the opulent nature of the personas on the show.
Ponies & Palaces | Charity Stream. Feb 2023.
In Feb 2023, Twitch streamer and performer OopsallSmurph hosted a charity game for the Trans Youth Equality Foundation. For our ninth collaboration, we decided to dive into the magical and mystical world of ponies. This game was held after some devastating bills were passed. The cause held a special place in my heart. I not only drew on all of the magical girl inspiration rooted in my nostalgia, but I also joined the performing cast.
